Recreational Therapy and Activity Programming is a process that utilizes recreation and other activity-based interventions designed to meet the needs of older adults and those with Alzheimer's and Related Dementias in order to improve their quality of life. This adjunct service to care management is a holistic program promotes the six dimensions of wellness: intellectual, physical, emotional, occupational, social, and spiritual healing.
